We look forward to welcoming new members to our club, and membership is open to all that have an interest in Amateur Radio and those that wish to attain an Amateur Radio license. The KI4ENN Repeater is supported by our local club, the Mountain Amateur Radio Club (MARC).  W4VFZ is the Trustee and License holder for this station, . The KI4ENN Repeater was originally the N4WCO Repeater, but was re-licensed and re-coordinated to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, Georgia, through SERA by Alton Higgins, W4VFZ, GA ARES EC for Towns County. The KI4ENN repeater participates in GA ARES nets, and welcomes all ham QSOs. It provides 2 meter communications within mountainous Towns County, as well as neighboring counties, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Our local ham radio club, MARC, meets in the old 911 Center in Hiawassee, GA., with a "Radio Room" for our fixed Base station (KI4ENN), complete with a tower, generator, and monster UPS system, thanks to support from Towns County and our County Commissioner, Bill Kendall.
